Nominations are now open for the inaugural Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Award, recognizing an individual who has made and/or continues to make a meaningful contribution to advancing and furthering human rights in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Deadline for nominations is October 31st, 2019. The Award will be presented on Thursday, December 5th, 2019, in celebration of International Human Rights Day, at Government House in St. John’s, NL.
If you would like to complete the nomination form in an alternative format, such as an interview, or have questions about the nomination process, please contact the Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission. Documents are available in alternate format upon request.
Please ensure that the nomination form has enough information on it about the nominee so that the Selection Committee can properly evaluate the nomination.
